Most days. I dated one once. He didn't have a body. Just one of those spirit-bodies; you know how that goes.

But I'd love to see someone's face when faced with a spirit. Too bad there aren't more of them around here.

How do you date a spirit? And last I checked, so far as I know, there are three here. Justice, Jack Frost, and Pitch. But I'm quite certain Pitch isn't the good sort of spirit.

Oh, I guess Jack is sort of a spirit, isn't he? What with being Jack Frost. [she laughs.] I liked him. But I've never met Pitch.

I wouldn't want to try. I don't know how it would even be... satisfying. Physically. And Pitch is the one that killed Jack. Only Jack won't report it because he doesn't think they can hold Pitch, or punish Pitch, and so Pitch is free to come and go as he pleases.

Well, it was definitely an experience. Not one I'd necessarily do again, but at least I can say I've done it.

[she pauses, sniffing to herself.] Fun. That seems kind of stupid. All of it. Isn't it worth a shot?

I'd have to agree, but Jack doesn't seem to. I don't exactly know what's going on there.

Maybe someone just needs to talk to him. [excuse her while she takes another drink.]

Maybe. [He takes another drink too.] Too much thinking for tonight.

I'd suggest drinking in silence, to prevent thinking, but I don't think that'll work very well. Especially not over the Forge like this.

Mm. [He's quiet for a few moments before sighing.] Or maybe it's time to consider stopping drinking for the night and getting home.

Maybe. Probably the best idea for you. [she'd probably offer him some sort of comforting touch if he were there. Sadly, he's not. So she just sighs, the sound sympathetic.] Get some water in you, too.

Right. Not like I've anything to worry about there. I'm a healer; I can fix whatever's wrong. I'll have some anyway, though. ...Thank you, Isabelle.
