Enough will be when I can step outside without thinking something else is going to happen. It always does. But I can't take anything else right now. I can't. So this will stop it for one night. One night's enough. It has to be.

And I'd tell you nothing else was going to happen, but I'm pretty sure that'd be a lie. I'm really bad at talking to drunk people when I'm sober. Can you tell?

Pulling's good. But not stitches. Who even stitches? Not mages. But there was so much and so people had to stitch. It must hurt. It doesn't hurt too much? Because I can heal it better. Probably when I'm sober is better. Better is better.

Hey, this is Elle. Didn't manage to make it to the party; bit of a story there, but I'll spare you for now since that's not what this is about.

Just wanted to send you something to say I'm still interested in joining the Alliance. I've thought it over and I'm most interested in getting placed in patrol. I'd still like to help search and rescue if extra hands are needed, but thanks to our recent mysterious thieves, it's safe to say I've made up my mind.
